This was a fun session! First, a little back-story. Every year for the past six summers we’ve taken a vacation to Sandy Cove in North East, Maryland. Yes, the name of the town really is North East and it’s in (you guessed it) the North-East part of Maryland, right at the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay. Molly and Amy first met there and have been nearly inseparable every year. They’ve stayed in touch through Facebook, texts, Skype, and the occasional phone call.

To be able to do a “friends” session with the two of them was just natural, and we all had a lot of fun! The first session was in the evening then we followed up with another the next morning. Watch their slideshow for some of the top picks from their sessions:

Dear Adam,
Your pictures and work rule! Of course, I’m a bit partial to the subject matter too…. Thanks so much for taking the time to make such special portraits of Amy and Molly–what a wonderful blessing for us and remembrance of Sandy Cove. It would be neat, in God’s providence, if somewhere down the road the girls ended up as roomates @ Sandy Cove summer as workers or at college!!

Thank you so much for the comment, Tom. We had a lot of fun with these. I was so happy when they said they’d let me do their portraits while we were there. I’m glad they turned out so well.
Wouldn’t that be great if they both ended up working together? They have such a special friendship.
