Jessica’s session was so great! I don’t think we’ve ever had one quite like it. We planned on having the session over two days because she wanted four locations — one of them at a stable so she could get portraits with the horse she rides. We were all set to head over to the stable on Friday when a huge, nasty storm rolls in. It was supposed to be clear all weekend. There was so much rain it was like we were in heavy fog; we couldn’t see much of the road.

Needless to say, we didn’t do the horse portraits on Friday. ;-) We did manage to get the other part of the session done once the rain let up that evening. The following day was beautiful, but we couldn’t get to the stable when we had planned, so we met a bit earlier in the day. The fields were still flooded but we got some beautiful images on a wooded trail and in some grassy areas. The horse loved being able to eat some grass.
