We had a great session with Kyle the other day.

He brought some great props — like his shoe collection:

He also wanted some images with his car. I love how the way the sun looks in this one.

Here’s a little more traditional “car” portrait.

Blue-toned portraits don’t always work very well, but this one is great.

Then we went to this great little cabin with antique wood — there are some great textures to be found.

We’ve known Hailey since she was little and it’s so nice to be able to do her senior portraits a little while ago.

We started out on the white backdrop.

A quick change.

Hailey is a percussionist in the marching band and also plays Taiko. Notice her custom-made pendant with the Taiko drummer. Coincidentally, I went to high school with one of her instructors (and his twin brother, who’s also a drummer). Even more interesting is that my high school is in Japan. Small world.

After the studio session, we went outside to the gorgeous day in the park.

Her dress and jacket were perfect for this park.

After a change of clothes, we finished up.
